Election campaign is quiet in Kirkuk


Head of Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) Kirkuk office Farhad Talabani says election campaign process is going calmly and the number of violation cases is not big. Talabani says the commission has registered name of 650 people asked to monitor the election process in the city. Talabani adds that so far 27 complaints have been received by his office and they referred them to Baghdad. He also discloses number of internal monitors in the city saying that 184 people from media outlets and 470 members of non-governmental organizations have been registered their names as monitors on the election process.
